I've been working on an exciting new project for a customer. This particular customer is not very technically-inclined (not that it matters) so I want to make sure they have the best content-editing experience they can. One of those things that I've done, is I've created app icons for each of the apps that they will use on the website so they know what each app will do by glancing at the icons before they use it.
It doesn't take a lot of effort to do these nice little things but they have a HUGE impact on their experience. And, selfishly speaking, it makes my job easier when my customers are less confused and more empowered.
So do the little things right.
